Searching for Divorce Records in Barnstable County
You have three main ways to search for divorce records in Barnstable County: online, in person, or by mail. The online option is the quickest for basic case data. Going to the courthouse lets you see the full file and get copies right away.
The state runs a free case lookup system that covers all Probate and Family Courts in Massachusetts, including Barnstable. Select "Probate and Family Court" as the court department, then pick Barnstable County from the list. You can search by name, entering the last name and first name of either party.
